Charles (Karl) F. LORENZ and his wife Christina b. SCHAEFER
originated from Schoenheide (near Eibenstock Erzgebirge/ Saxony) and Pockau
or Bockau.
Paul and Lena were born in Germany.
Anna in Chicago. They emigrated
to America (Chicago) in 1880.

They had three children: the daughter
Mabel Hoffman b. Lorenz, and the sons
Willis and Arthur. Paul was the brother of
Lena Schreiber and Anna Johnson. He was
operator of a men's clothing store at 63d
and Halsted St. Paul was also the
president of the Englewood Lions club and
the Englewood Business Men's association.
Paul died in March 1956. Paul Charles lived up
to death with his daughter in the 7834 S

Mrs. Lorenz b. Schäfer was Schonheide / Erzgebirge.
